Asphalt Shingles

Introduction:
Asphalt Roofing shingles are a roof covering consisting of individual overlapping elements. These elements are typically flat, rectangular shapes laid in courses from the bottom edge of the roof up, with each successive course overlapping the joints below.

Application System:

Torch On Method: In this method, Shingles are pasted over the bituminous underlayment by heating. This method is recommended for Concrete/hard substrates.

Nailing Method: In this method, shingles are directly nailed
to the surface. This method is recommended for wooden roofs where nails/screws are easily accepted.

Area Of Application:
Asphalt Roofing Shingles can be installed on any sloping roof having a smooth finished surface.

Stone Coated Metal Roofing

Introduction:
A stone coated metal roof is made from steel which is galvalume coated. The metal is then coated with stone chips and attached to the steel with an acrylic film.

Application System:
Stone Coated Metal Roof tiles are installed by screwing them to the battens.

Areas Of Application:
Stone Coated Metal Roofing tiles are installed over sloping roofs. Sloping Roof could be a metal framed fabrication or a concrete slab (Battens need to be installed over the concrete slab).
